Breakers Boutique
The Breakers Boutique Resort, the former Breakers North hotel property, opened as an oceanfront condominium tower in March, 2004. Located at 2701 North Ocean Boulevard in the heart of Myrtle Beach’s oceanfront PUD district, the resort's exclusive size led to a remodel never before attempted on the Strand. The renovation, which took place Winter 2005, was designed to take advantage of the building’s spectacular design and intimate features in order to create an "upscale boutique" resort.
"The first time I laid eyes on the property, I was struck immediately by its uniqueness in the market," said Tim Horton, Vice President of Sales for The Hoffman Group. "Its angles and variations give it tremendous architectural eye appeal."
More extraordinary is the design of the condominium interiors. There are a number of interlocking floor plans and every room is located directly on the OCEANFRONT. One-bedroom plans feature both the living room and bedroom on the ocean. Two-bedroom units feature three bays to the OCEAN. The three-bedroom lockout plan actually has all four of its bays situated directly on the OCEANFRONT! There is no other property in Myrtle Beach that we know of that offers this kind of oceanfront exposure.
Beyond all of this, the building’s exterior has been completely revitalized in striking South Miami Beach colors. The lobby takes on an exciting "art deco" look with new front desk, a variety of designer "art deco statement furniture pieces, a wide-screen plasma television and unique artwork. To fully utilize the deep, spectacular lawn between the pool area and the ocean, colorful cabanas have been added to be used by the resort’s guests.
Amenities include spacious swimming pool, hot tubs, children’s play pool, and a spacious exercise area including men’s and ladies’ saunas and locker rooms.
Proving the foresight of the developer, the conversion was sold almost immediately. Demand for units remains intense and prospective purchasers should call The Hoffman Group today to discuss available inventory. Top
